Working with TEMBO

We are always looking for talented individuals to expand our ever-growing team.

TEMBO is a collective of freelancers with a common love of events that share a desire to deliver best practice to the events industry- and we are always eager to learn.

Contracts vary in remit, length and days per week. You dictate what you're interested in and TEMBO seeks out the contracts.

We're looking for:



Marketing directors, HoM, marketing managers: min. 2 year's event marketing experience 

Marketing executives, graduate-level junior marketing execs: min. 3 months event marketing experience


We also regularly intake non-event experienced executives to work in our agency.

You will need to have marketing experience or a marketing qualification to be considered.



Conference producers: min. of 2 year’s conference production experience.

You will need to have two references from previous positions.


We're looking for experienced and creative event PR professionals to join our collective.  

We also occasionally have internship opportunities. 

Need to know:

As a freelancer, you will be required to register as self-employed and handle your own tax payments.

TEMBO does not guarantee work but will be actively seeking appropriate contracts for you and providing relevant training.

You charge TEMBO a daily rate for your expertise and are paid on a monthly basis (within the month you work).

You will never get bored, and the pace is fast. No two days are the same, as you are likely to be working on a number of different clients it means you are continuously switching mind-set
