CHARITY & COMMUNITY

TEMBO x The Girl's Network

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Tembo has officially partnered with The Girls’ Network (TGN), a leading charity dedicated to inspiring and empowering young women from the least advantaged communities across the UK.

This collaboration is deeply personal to our agency. As a female-led business, and driven by our CEO Kate Disley's own background and passion, this partnership is a direct and powerful extension of our commitment to gender equality and career accessibility within the industry. We fundamentally believe that no girl should have her future limited by her background.

OUR PARTNERSHIP.

Our partnership is built on providing concrete, hands-on support to TGN's ambassadors:

  • Mentorship: Our team members will be participating in TGN’s essential 1:1 mentorship programme, providing guidance and support one hour a month.

  • Internship Opportunities: We are proud to offer structured, real-world work placements to TGN ambassadors, including a designated spot in each of our training academies, giving them a vital start in events marketing.

  • Career Inspiration: We will be hosting office visits and running dedicated career talks at our London office, aimed at demystifying our industry and inspiring young women to see their potential.

  • Fundraising: We will commit to running internal campaigns to raise essential funds to support TGN's charitable programs.

Women In Exhibitions

Women In Exhibitions

TEMBO has proudly supported Women in Exhibitions for the past four years, sponsoring and attending its events and actively supporting the community it has built across the exhibition industry. Women in Exhibitions exists to empower women working across organisers, venues and suppliers, while supporting their professional development through networking, mentoring, learning and career opportunities.

As a female-led business, this partnership is especially important to us. We strongly believe in creating opportunities for women to develop, progress and take on leadership roles within the events industry, and we are proud to support an organisation that shares those values and is helping to nurture the next generation of female leaders.

Sticky Wicket

TEMBO has also proudly sponsored Sticky Wicket for the past four years, supporting one of the events industry’s much-loved annual fundraising events. Sticky Wicket brings together people from across the exhibitions and events community for a day of cricket, networking and fundraising, all in support of the Lord’s Taverners.

The charity uses cricket to create opportunities for young people with disabilities and those from disadvantaged communities, helping them build confidence, skills and aspirations. Sticky Wicket has raised around £600,000 for the Lord’s Taverners over the past 18 years, and TEMBO is proud to play a part in supporting both this brilliant industry tradition and the important work behind it.
