TEMBO Partners with UFI to Support Global Exhibition Day 2023

The eighth annual Global Exhibitions Day will take place on June 7, 2023, celebrating and promoting the vital role of face-to-face business events in driving the global economy. The theme for this year's event is "We run the meeting places and marketplaces for everyone", highlighting the important role that face-to-face business events play in driving the global economy.

TEMBO, the event support agency with a fresh approach to marketing, content production and event management with a strong track record in the exhibitions industry, will work with UFI to promote and support GED 2023, driving participation and engagement across the industry.

As the Marketing Partner for GED, TEMBO will help to create and implement marketing strategies to raise awareness and promote GED 2023 across multiple channels, including social media, email marketing, and WOM promotion.

Global Exhibitions Day aims to increase the visibility of the exhibition industry both regionally and on a global scale, with a focus on promoting the strong economic and social benefits that exhibitions provide. The goal is to increase participation, reach, and positive engagement, and to create a sense of a global community. Mainstream press recognition is also a key objective.

TEMBO will work with UFI to create example posts, including stitched videos, for social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. These posts will be shareable from the UFI GED website. Stakeholders, including organisers, media, service providers, and supporting associations, will be engaged to create content in advance and share plans with their internal communications teams.

TEMBO and UFI will moderate the event on the day, collate stats, and create a highlights reel. The aim is to get the hashtag #GED2023 trending globally, and to share the results with the press.
