We are looking for experienced marketing professional to join our growing team as a Social Media Marketing Executive. You will play a crucial role in managing event campaigns and supporting clients through strategic marketing initiatives. The Role:
The Social Media Marketing Executive is a strategic, hands-on role suited to a candidate with a strong background in consumer marketing, ideal for a candidate with experience in the events industry and a passion for consumer driven digital marketing. You will be responsible for driving awareness, engagement, and ticket sales for live events through social media, connecting directly with audiences before, during, and after each event.
You will take ownership of social media campaigns across multiple event brands and formats. You will lead campaign execution, provide performance insights, and make data led recommendations to maximise reach, attendance, and fan engagement. This role works closely with internal teams and reports into senior management.
Campaign Management Responsibilities

Develop and execute creative B2C and B2B social media strategies to promote live events and experiences

Manage end to end social media campaigns across the full event lifecycle, from pre-launch to live coverage and post event engagement

Monitor and analyse campaign performance and audience behaviour, producing clear reports and actionable recommendations

Identify emerging social trends, platform updates, and event marketing opportunities to inform creative direction

Manage content calendars and ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all social channels

Collaborate with event, creative, influencers, and performance marketing teams to maximise campaign impact
Key Skills and Experience

Proven experience in B2C or B2B social media, ideally within events, entertainment, or lifestyle sectors

Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, audience engagement tactics, and social media trends

Experience managing, analysing, and optimising campaigns using data and performance insights

Confidence working with design tools such as Canva or similar platforms to create and adapt digital assets

Familiarity with email marketing, websites, paid media, and PPC support, including performance tracking and optimisation

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work autonomously while contributing strategically within a collaborative team environment
Support Responsibilities

Design & Creative Support: Create and adapt marketing assets for emails, social media, and event deliverables using Canva and other design platforms, ensuring brand consistency

Reporting & Analysis: Deliver detailed campaign reporting with clear insights and recommendations for clients and internal teams

Paid Media Support: Assist with PPC and paid social campaigns when required, including creative coordination and performance support

Onsite Event Support: Attend live events to provide onsite marketing support and real time campaign coordination
Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in social media or digital marketing within the events, entertainment, or lifestyle industries

Strong understanding of audience engagement and behaviour in live event environments

Experience using social media to drive ticket sales and conversions

Confident in client communication, reporting, and stakeholder management

Highly organised with strong project management skills, able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
