Challenge
A fast growing international event wanted to push preregistrations and visitor numbers beyond the previous year’s strong performance. The organiser needed to engage returning and new audiences across multiple markets in a short timeframe.
Solution
TEMBO built an integrated communications plan using email, WhatsApp and SMS to reach audiences in the channels they actively use. Our approach included:
- Messaging was segmented for buyers, distributors and brands, with a steady stream of proof-led, benefit-driven content leading into show week.
- Reminders and last chance prompts were spaced carefully to maximise conversion without overwhelming the database.
Results
- The campaign delivered 6,248 preregistrations, 56% above target
- 4,285 attendees on site → 24% growth year on year and 14% above the organiser’s goal
- Event week preregistration more than doubled versus the previous year, and total registrations were 75% higher
- Rebook performance was strong and the event closed with a highly engaged community
